چکیده
The concept of substructural logic was originally introduced in relation to limitations Gentzen’s structural rules Contraction, Weakening and Exchange. Recent years have witnessed the development logics also challenging Tarskian properties Reflexivity Transitivity logical consequence. In this introduction we explain recent two aspects which it leads a reassessment bounds classical logic. On one hand, standard ways defining notion consequence naturally induce when admitting more than truth values; on other these give rise hierarchies metainferences that can be used approximate at different levels.

An Introduction to Substructural Logics
“Restall has written a masterful book that is well motivated by persuasive examples, a book that is marvellously lucid, and chock full of a distinctive combination of conceptual insight, good taste and mathematical elegance. This book is a perfect authoritative introduction to a burgeoning topic, eminently suitable to graduate students. Everything is explained from the ground up in a style that...
متن کاملSubstructural Logics and Residuated Lattices — an Introduction
This is an introductory survey of substructural logics and of residuated lattices which are algebraic structures for substructural logics. Our survey starts from sequent systems for basic substructural logics and develops the proof theory of them. Then, residuated lattices are introduced as algebraic structures for substructural logics, and some recent developments of their algebraic study are ...

متن کاملModalities in Substructural Logics
This paper generalises Girard's results which embed intuitionistic logic into linear logic by showing how arbitrary substructural logics can be embedded into weaker substructural logics, using a single modality whichèncodes' the new structural rules. Logics 1 1. Logics Logic is about valid deduction. One central result in logic is the deduction theorem. A; ` B if and only if`A ! B This result t...
